Trickle Down

Dripping in warm passion

Pouring down their union

Down the lashes, the lips

Onto the steaming ground

Where earthlings bore a tale

Beneath a cold, laden sky

Set ablaze in a moment

Of fortuitous intimacy.

Seeping into the marrow

Of the fertile earth and below

Past the squirms and scrurries

Past the roots of harbingers

Ancient among paltry men

Foremost creation of the Lord

Foremost to taste His blessing

Beneath the magnanimous sky.

Come unto me O shiny drop

Set ablaze my world

Break the shackles O shiny drop

Set free my world!

Writhing under the blazing Sun

Rises a clamour unseen, unheard

And shoots to the skies above

And rests amidst kins floating

Only to await a gathering

Of a million diminutive seeds

Sown amidst a coming storm

A thunder and then lighting.

Claps and accolades rang proud

Across the flamboyant skyline

As birds rushed for shelter and

The wind danced as a maiden gay

And the sky shed a tear shiny

Of joy and young infatuation

Through the amorous air

And rest upon a lovers’ kiss.

Come unto me O shiny drop

Set ablaze my world

Break the shackles O shiny drop

Set free my world!
