She Painted Fire Across The Skyline

Weaving a wand twisted
Across the landscape old
Where the wind blew west
And she stood in white
Awaiting the swans’ lament
To carry her to her demise
To the haunting wonderland
Away from the taciturn autumn
A cold reprieve, a release
From the shackles of guilt
Of souls corrupted, souls split
In despicable seas of trust
Laden with muck; she waved
Across the silver skyline afar
And split the sky apart into
Brilliant shades of a spectrum
Blinding the obsequious ones
And drawing the final figure
And shading an obscure horizon
In her indiscernible sketch
And as the swans flew to her
She painted fire across the skyline.
